Cleveland, Ohio, March 23rd, 2023 – CommuteAir, a leading regional airline and operator for the United Express network, today announced that René DeLange has been appointed as Vice President of Inflight & Airport Operations. René has been working for CommuteAir since 2008 and held multiple management roles within the airline.
“Throughout René’s 15-year tenure with CommuteAir he has brought a thoughtful approach to team building and leadership which has added tremendous value across our organization,” said Joel T. Raymond, CommuteAir’s COO. “His extensive knowledge of our operations, coupled with his expertise in the aviation industry makes him the ideal person to lead our inflight and airport operations teams.”
A veteran of commercial aviation, René came to CommuteAir in 2008 with an extensive background in people management and operations. Since then, he’s continued his positive track record that began at Canadian Airlines and continued with Chautauqua and Republic. At CommuteAir, René first served as Director of Airport Operations and Training until 2017 when he was promoted to Managing Director of Crew Resources and Scheduling, and most recently Rene has served as Managing Director of Inflight and Customer Experience.
